This module is aimed at companies yet to embark on developing their integrated social web strategy. For those that have started to implement their strategy there is a more in-depth module available on Social Media Monitoring. This Social Web mapping, brand audits and competitor analysis module includes:
- Understanding what is a successful social web brand audit
- The social media monitoring tools available
- Learning how to structure a brand audit
- Understanding the importance of data mining and search term analysis
- Designing a meaningful competitor comparative analysis
- Learning effective results fine-tuning
- Learning effective results analysis and reporting

This is delivered as either
- 1-day workshop with a take home project and 1-day follow up practical application review and implementation hands-on workshop, or
- 2-day intensive design and hands-on implementation workshop.

Building on the basic knowledge and awareness gained from the Understanding the power and influence of social web seminar, this module provides the structure and process for developing your social media strategy. It includes:
- What successful companies are doing with Web 2.0 (the Social Web)
- Understanding how brands engage with the social web
- Defining your online brand
- Identifying and developing your unique user-generated content
- How you can influence the consumer-to-consumer conversation
- Defining your strategy
- The required strategic elements
- Putting it all together
- Testing its validity
- Finalising your strategy
This module is delivered
- as a 1-day workshop with a take home project and 1-hour teleconference follow up with the course tutor, or
- as a 2-day in-house workshop targeted at a known set of client objectives

For clients who have embarked on a social web engagement project, this module is designed to provide the skills to take an in-depth look at Social Media Monitoring, brand audits, comparative competitor analysis, identifying opportunity leads, defining new customer sets and other ROI generating activities. - The alternate social media monitoring tools available, their strengths and their weaknesses

Social Media Tribes update and networking
To provide a forum for our clients and other who are interested in social media to network and discuss social media matters independent of Social Media Graffiti, we offer our Social Media Tribes community. There are social media tribe networking events held at multiple locations around the country. We facilitate some and other interested parties (including clients) facilitate others. We are always available in a purely support function. There is a consistency of meeting topic across all locations enabling members to rotate attendance at differing locations without missing specific content. Everything else is defined by the tribe members through the local facilitator.
Practical operating hands-on workshops
We offer practical workshops where our social media operators pass on their knowledge and skills in the following areas:
