A brilliant metaphor for twitter!

This video just goes to show the power of know me, like me, follow me … moreover it goes to show the "bell curve" of twitter in an obscure sort of way.

First there was one, un-noticed by most but interesting enough to video. He was alone for a while but had the faith … people looked on and were critical of him

Then someone joined him, converted by his passion and belief and in the fact that there might be something here and worth joining in with. Now people started to pay attention, although still not sure that it was the right thing … but the conversation started.

Then more and more appeared, until people were joining en-mass because it became clear that it was the right thing to do … critical mass was hit and now everyone was paying attention.

Then the masses suddenly realised they needed to get involved and the group grew exponentially!

This video shows the power of being a leader, standing out from the crowd, and how a small effort can produce a massive result, just like social media!

P.S I found this video via @marcuside, great person to follow, (Marcus Ide) for his original writing style and insights.
